Noelle and Peter have held a craft partnership for nearly as long as they have been married (30+ years). Noelle has always had an interest in counted thread needlework and Peter a love of all things wooden. Designing needlework for the classes she conducted has led to the birth of Silkstone Design. Needing ‘just the right piece of equipment’ has developed into the Camdan Products range, which keeps Peter busy in his workshop.
More recently the needlework has extended to include beading projects, with the emphasis very much on fine work with seed beads.
The business operates from a home studio where Noelle conducts classes and works on new designs and a workshop where Peter produces the accessories.
